How does my child see their published story?
After submitting an ending, they're taken straight to the Published Story page — the full adventure with their ending at the end. It can be printed or saved from there.
My child used their real name. Can it be removed?
Absolutely. Use the contact form above (select "Privacy") with the pen name used and the approximate date. We'll remove it within 5 business days, no questions asked.
Can I request deletion of a story ending?
Yes, at any time. Use the form above and we'll handle it promptly.
Can schools use And Then?
Absolutely — And Then? is classroom-ready. No accounts, no logins. It works great as a creative writing prompt. One story per class, everyone writes a different ending, then compare them.
How does the AI work?
When a child submits their ending, it goes through Claude AI (by Anthropic). The AI does two things: checks the content is appropriate for children, then fixes spelling and punctuation only. It never changes the child's ideas or voice. The story that gets published is their story.
Is this really free?
Yes. And it will always be free for the core experience of reading and writing story endings. Storytelling belongs to children, not paywalls.
